General Purpose: Under the direction of the President of BPC Plasma, Inc., plan, organize and monitor the activities, budget  and operations of assigned facility related projects; coordinate and monitors, capital outlay projects for the business unit plasma center, lab and corporate office. Provide a single point of contact to internal and external customers for all facility related services required,  acting as liaison to ensure timely high quality services.

Essentials of the Job: 

  • Ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations, including: OSHA, FDA, Fire, Building/Safety, etc.

  • Put preventive maintenance programs in place for the donor centers with consistent practices across all companies

  • Process maintenance requests transition all current practices to software process for all donor centers, lab and corporate office.

  • Communicate with donor center management regarding repairs, maintenance, new construction, appearance upgrades.

  • Manage multiple local contractors to complete work in donor centers across the company. Includes managing timeliness and satisfactory completion of work.

  • Authorize and negotiate work proposals/estimates with local contractors.

  • Develop and administer BPC BU Facility Capital Budget and timelines.

  • Manages Purchase Orders (PO’s), Capital Expenditure Requests (CER’s), SAP, and Dolphin.

  • Work in conjunction with the Associate Director of Maintenance Support, Biomat.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the President of BPC Plasma, Inc.


Nature or Work and Scope

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Facilities, Real Estate / Property Management preferred.  Experience can offset education requirements

Experience Requirements: Three to five years relevant experience in project design/management of fast track projects or three to five years of general administrative duties involving real estate / property management and one to two years in Commercial Real Estate Property Management

Other Essential Knowledge: Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent presentation and analytical, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.  Effective organizational, scheduling and follow-up skills.  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all internal and external customers. Office 365, SAP

Working Conditions: Time is divided between general office environment with 80% of work on computer, talking on phone to external service providers, Plasma Centers and internal management. Approximately 20% overnight travel per year, occasional long hours required to meet project deadlines.
